Wackie Weather...

Let me set the mood...fathers day..up at my dads..and this is the first view of the day...side shot off the dock and probably one of the most tranquil....this is their neighbours dock..and the mouth of the channel that leads into the lake..where their house is situated is right along the Trent waterway system, so alot of boats cross..you can easily spend hours a day just sitting and watching, but MY facination for the camera this day was the weather...and just how incredible the sky can be sometimes..in a very short period of time...

Turn to the right, this the other view...my dad and I took a father/daughter canoe ride out to one of the island homes and back...was really fun..this was just after we got back and just before my sister and I decided to then go for a ride......tho it was a quick one, as the weather was moving in faster than we could paddle.

That's my sister on the end of the dock..doing some sort of ritual RAIN dance or something..I just couldn't get over the darkness of the clouds and the sun shinning as if it had the right to be out with those dark clouds....

Laying on the dock..sister in front, then me...and the contrast to the light against the clouds was so pretty, I HAD to take a picture, even if I was laying down when I did it.....dont ask me about my sisters legs.....even I cant' explain it but SHE says it's comfie to have her legs up against the rails of the swimming ladder like that...not my place to question..lol

Darkness looms.....the sun started to fade.....this is taken from the house actually off the deck....

Fluffy white clouds, constrast with the dark....I thought it looked neat, I was sitting on the edge of the dock looking west

Then looking east....

Coming home across the 401 that night..I couldn't resist taking pictures out of the car..I was surprised to get some of these, considering how hard the rain was falling...

you see something like this....it gives you chills.....it was almost spiritual to watch the sun try to again peek out...

And finally end the night as surreal as the day started......
what a lovely show the sky gave us that day.....
so I felt the want to share....
